POEM- BADE ACHHE LAGTE HAIN

Bade achhe lagte hain poem

BADE ACHHE LAGTE HAIN
After waiting for a long long time,
Today was the day to get ready
To see showjumping, puppetryand mime.
The man at the ticket counter gave them popcorn
The two children whose shoes were worn and clothes torn
Were living their dream
Suddenly a shadow fell across the floor
Which quitened all the uproar
Slowly it walked towards them all
It was a bewilderment ka mahol.
As the shadow got smaller
The silhouette became bigger
A man on stilts was on a colourful display
Bade log bade achhe lagte hain.
